When working with people that want to change how their life is working out for them, I go on about how you need to change your thinking to change your results. But I often hear comments back about how exactly does that work.
Let me just say. It’s all about perspective. We’ve just about all heard about whether people view the glass as half empty or half full. It’s a person’s perspective that determines whether it is half full or half empty.
If you can mentally distance yourself from any situation you can get a different perspective of a situation. If you can put yourself in the other person’s shoes, you get a different perspective of the argument.
Sometimes, it is just a different description on how something can be accomplished that makes a difference in a person’s understanding.
So for those you have troubles with the idea of you need to change you’re thinking to change your results. Then try, changing your perspective (or view) to change you results.
Hope this helps.
